- Light windbreaker and warm layer for the 20°C morning and post-race
What you should know
- Wetsuit legality depends on measured sea temperature on race morning, so pack one but expect a start-line ruling.
- Body marking and bike/helmet checks happen at check-in; arrive early in case bikes must be racked the day before.
- Your helmet must be buckled from the moment you touch the bike until it is re-racked, and no riding in transition.
- Drafting is illegal for age-groupers; keep the stated gap or complete your pass within the allowed time.
- Middle distance has intermediate cutoffs and the seafront course can be windy and exposed; late athletes may be pulled.
