Pack this

  • Sleeveless tri suit + anti-chafe balm (Body Glide or similar)

  • Bike with fresh tubes/CO2, two 750ml bottles + electrolyte mix

What you should know

  • Mandatory athlete check-in and bike rack the day before — no race-morning bike drop at T1 Chankanaab.
  • Swim is a saltwater point-to-point with strong current; wetsuits typically not legal given ~28-29°C water temps.
  • Expect 32°C heat and high humidity on the run — drink at every aid station and use ice/sponges to manage core temp.
  • T1 (Chankanaab) and T2 (downtown) are separate; pack two labeled bags and confirm gear-bag drop-off times.
  • Helmet must be buckled before unracking the bike; drafting is penalized — keep 12m clearance from the rider ahead.
