What you should know
- Course runs along the Atlantic on Aterro do Flamengo and Copacabana — expect sea breeze, glare and minimal shade.
- Pick up your bib and kit at the official expo before race day; no race-morning collection is offered.
- Marathon and Challenge runners must respect intermediate cutoffs to stay ahead of the course sweep vehicle.
- Aid stations provide water and isotonic roughly every 2–3 km; carry your own gels as flavors/brands vary.
- Challenge category requires finishing the 21K on Saturday before being cleared to start the 42K on Sunday.
